Also access to online SRHR information has been provided but minimal, does not always reflect the needs, and has issues in reaching young women through the right channels. The results of the baseline KAP survey show that the level of knowledge on SRHR varies significantly amongst gender and across regions. A majority of young women participants highlighted during focus group discussions that they are not aware of the definition of sexual health and lack the basic knowledge on the matter. Young men participants, on the other hand, were able to identify more easily with the term and provide more concrete examples. The opposing levels of awareness and knowledge is explained by restricting social norms and values that lead specifically young women participants to associate SRHR topics with fear and shame, and influence their ability to access such information. Reproductive health and rights, on the other hand, were more easily identified by both young women and men participants, as they are more socially acceptable to discuss and are understood to be generally more directly related to pregnancy and child birth. However, young women participants demonstrated more detailed knowledge of the topic. The majority of the survey respondents do not believe that young women and men/ girls and boys receive sufficient SRHR education. More respondents believe that young men and boys receive sufficient SRHR education, as 27% agreed to the statement, compared to 23% who agreed that young women and girls receive sufficient SRHR education. It is notable that only 3% of young men respondents report that they have no knowledge at all, a much higher rate was reported by young women respondents (17%). </narrative> </comment> </baseline> <period> <period-start iso-date="2021-01-01"/> <period-end iso-date="2021-12-31"/> <target value="153"> <location ref=" PS - Palestine, state of "/> <comment> <narrative xml:lang="en">Activities aiming at providing young women with comprehensive, corrective information on SRHR shall include:- A capacity building program for grass root self-organized groups of young people with disabilities (YPWDs)- Capacity development for group of youth activists university students and graduates on SRHR issues, rights, protection measures and pathways. </narrative> </comment> </baseline> <period> <period-start iso-date="2023-01-01"/> <period-end iso-date="2023-12-31"/> <target value="1000"> <location ref=" PS - Palestine, state of "/> <comment> <narrative xml:lang="en">Oxfam and its partners will reach 1000 male diverse YP through awareness raising session, radio episodes, educational moves and Live Action Role Playing (LARP) game.</narrative> </comment> </target> <actual value="961"> <location ref=" PS - Palestine, state of "/> <comment> <narrative xml:lang="en">A total of 961 young men were reached through the 316 awareness sessions on SRHR conducted in 3 cities in the country by Oxfam partner organizations. A national influencing strategy will be developed based on these studies, therefore, youth and partners will work to operationalize the influencing strategy by launching campaigns that call for policy change related to youth right to SRH. RNW Media is adjusting its 5-year target from 15 to 3 advocacy initiatives. This is based on low realization against 5-year target at midterm, as well as the current context.Oxfam is planning to implement several additional advocacy initiatives on SRHR issues, targeting decision makers, stakeholders, community leaders, religious leaders, media and other organizations towards developing and implementing a unified SRHR strategy.
