Partnerships for Disability-Inclusive Ultra-Poor Graduation, Uganda
This programme’s intended impact is sustainable poverty reduction (SDG1) and reduction in inequality (SDG 10) for the most marginalised and vulnerable among the ultra-poor - people with disabilities and women in Uganda and globally. The specific objective is to deliver the increased socio-economic empowerment and resilience of 2,700 ultra-poor households (13500 people in total), including 1,890 (70%) of households where the project holder is a woman and 405 households (15%) where the project holder is a person with disability (PWD), in Kiryandongo District (Western Region) and Gulu, Nwoya and Oyam Districts (Northern Region) of Uganda. Change in Uganda is delivered through six results, measured through SMART, gender and disability disaggregated key performance indicators.
